Artsy Avenue – Stroll the Avenue of Art with Us!

I’m very happy to announce the start of a growing artistic community, Artsy Avenue!

An online art community with artists of all different styles, from painters, photographers, mixed media, poets, chefs, and more! Tamara and I have been working hard for months behind the scenes to create a community with a very specific goal, freedom of expression and respect for our artsy member’s differences and similarities, all within an educational and creatively inspiring format. We didn’t want a place of clones, we wanted a place for individual artists to be able to be free to be themselves, and replace judgment with respect of others styles. Fortunately, we have made friends along the way with artists who were very supportive of this project and our vision; you can see a list of our contributors here. We couldn’t be doing this without this team of artists getting involved.

Membership is free!
Members can have a profile, with activity wall and will be able to participate in groups. You can add friends, post comments, and send private messages. The main Artsy blog will be informative and updated on a regular basis by a variety of contributors. We will also be offering workshops and contests with giveaways in the near future!

We are opening our arms to you, a place for all the misfits of art to have a home! Please come and join us!!!

Little Mousey

Salem my cat woke me this morning at 5 am to introduce me to his new little friend. Little Mousey was sitting on the fence outside my bedroom window. He’s so cute.
